Building Our Legacy

Since its founding in 1998, Crossroads Community Church has met in seven different locations throughout Winchester. Our current facility has been home since 2007. In recent years, God graciously brought continued growth, and as a result, we are now reaching the limits of our existing space.

Phase 1:
In 2020, the church explored the purchase of a potential property, which ultimately did not come to fruition. This season, however, served as a catalyst to begin intentionally preparing for future expansion. Over the course of 23 months, the congregation faithfully gave more than $500,000, which continues to be set aside toward our next building. Our scriptural foundation during this phase came from Isaiah 54:2–3:

“Enlarge your house; build an addition; spread out your home! For you will soon be bursting at the seams.”

Phase 2:
We are currently in an active season of prayer and discernment, seeking God’s direction regarding where He would have us relocate. Our guiding scripture for this phase is Numbers 33:53:

“Take possession of the land and settle in it, because I have given it to you to occupy.”

The vision God has placed before us is to establish a community center that also houses a church — a space designed to serve both the congregation and the surrounding community. This center would potentially include:

  • A daycare serving children from birth to four years of age

  • A community room for mid-sized events, gatherings, and receptions

  • A garden café offering breakfast, lunch, and quality coffee

  • A senior activity program focused on social connection and physical engagement

  • Facilities to house Crossroads Community Church, including a worship center, offices, and meeting rooms

As we move forward, we do so with faith, expectation, and hope, trusting God to establish a lasting legacy that will serve both His Church and our community for generations to come.
